NGHL LABOR DAY CHALLENGE 2026

Celebrate the long weekend on the ice at the NGHL Labor Day Challenge—a perfect way to kick off the 2026–27 season. This event welcomes AA 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U divisions for a fun, competitive, and well-organized start to the season.

LABOR DAY CHALLENGE

• Date: September 4-6, 2026 (Friday-Sunday)
• Divisions: 12U, 14U, 16U, 19U
• Event: All NGHL events have a 5-game guarantee and are USA Hockey-sanctioned.
• Locations: 
  • Enfield Twin Rinks (19U) - 1 Prior Rd, Enfield, CT 06082
  • Cromwell Ice Rink (14U, 16U) - 6 Progress Dr, Cromwell, CT 06416
  • Newington Ice Arena (12U, 14U) - 300 Alumni Road, Newington, CT
  • Northford Ice Pavilion (16U) - 34 Firelite, Pl, Northford, CT

REGISTRATION

• To compete in an NGHL tournament, teams must receive consent.
• Is your team from Canada? Contact the NGHL at info@nghlhockey.com for an exchange rate discount before registering. 

PAYMENT

• A deposit of $500 is due upon registration to reserve your spot (Balance due 60 days before event.)
• Full payment must be received 60 days prior to the event.
  Online: While completing registration for an event, teams have the option to pay in full by using a credit card or sending payment in the mail by check. Accepted credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. In the event of needing a refund, please note that processing fees will not be refunded.
  Check: Check must be made out to “National Girls Hockey League.” 

NGHL HOTEL POLICY  A condition of being accepted into an NGHL event is that ALL teams (local or traveling) who require accommodation MUST book rooms through the NGHL. No other rates (including corporate/ AAA/government rates), discounts, or hotel reward points, regardless of how acquired, will be allowed. No exceptions.
